It is a privilege to welcome all the students aspiring to join Paramedical College Durgapur. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all. We started our journey in the year 2002 with a mission to empower young talents and to bring prosperity to the community and society as a whole. We believe that education is a powerful instrument for socio-economic transformation. The current system of healthcare education in India has not been able to keep up with the increased demand for healthcare professionals across the country. In the modern world, Paramedical Science has emerged as an integral part of the health care sector in India. This indicates that the healthcare sector in India will be dominating the economy in the future creating huge opportunities for paramedical professionals in the job market. General Rules & Instructions

All notices issued by the college require mandatory reading and strict obedience.

Failure to comply with the rules and the regulation of the college will lead to disciplinary action such as warning, fines and suspension or even to expulsion from the college. In all disciplinary matters the decision of the management will be obligatory and final.
Any candidate suffering either from any disability or chronic disorder or both must mention the same (with essential documents) in the prescribed application form during the time of admission.
All students are requested to carry the college identity card & should wear their uniform within the college campus during the college hours. The identity card will be issued from the college after due notification.
College fees should be always paid within the stipulated date and time. However, after the due date the fees be paid along with a late fine detailed below:
- Late fine for depositing tuition fee after due date ₹ 75/- per day.
- Late fine for depositing hostel fee after due date ₹ 75/- per day.
- Late fine for depositing library books/ other fee ₹ 25/- per day.
- Student should deposit any fees by BDS/Draft at office between 9.30 am to 5.30pm.
Any fees including seat booking/registration/tuition fees once deposited shall not be refunded at any circumstances.
It is mandatory for the girls students to stay in the hostel except for those students who has permanent or parental residence within Durgapur Corporation area.
Students (boys) can only leave the hostel in the end of July.
Having food in college canteen is compulsory for all the hostellers.
Smoking and drinking (alcohol) within and nearby college campus is strictly prohibited. Because of smoking or consuming alcohol, the particular candidate and other candidates related to such offence may be penalised by suspension for 3 months of fine (₹ 20,000.00) or even both depending upon the decision of the disciplinary action committee.
The management of the college reserves the right to change / modify the prospectus rules, guidelines, fees structures and other criteria of the college whenever necessary for time to time according to the situation and will not be answerable to any one of such changes. All the persons connected to the college shall be bound by these rules at all times. Any legal disputes that may arise shall be subjected to jurisdiction of Durgapur.

Any Student, in any case discontinues his/her study after lapse of two months since admission he/she will have to clear up all payments of only two academic year.
The student will not allow to appear in the college and University examination unless he/she attend 75% of the lectures, demonstrations & practical classes as per the University norms.
Students must maintain proper dress code within college hours (9.30am to 4.30pm) and outside the college campus. Those who stay at hostel must confirm to dignified dress code. Any kind of vulgar dress is prohibited within the campus of the college.
Students/Guardians are supposed to deposit any college fees by cash at only Bandhan Bank and Axis Bank at Bidhannagar Durgapur Branch, thereafter the original bank receipt to be submitted in the account section of the college office, or by drawing draft in favour of 'DURGAPUR SEARCH'. College fee deposited in any other branches of Bandhan Bank/Axis Bank will not be accepted.

- Hostel fees have to be deposited by 10th of every month. Fine will be imposed after that.
If any student fails to pay college fees for consecutively two instalments the authority has every right to take appropriate action which may extend to striking off the name of the concern student from the college register without assigning any reason thereof.
Students (boys) once admitted in college hostel must continue their stay for at least one Year, ie (1st August to 31st July). In case if he leaves the hostel for any personal reason, he shall have to pay the lodging charge only for rest duration of that year.
Students (girls) once admitted in the college hostel must continue their stay for the whole academic year, if somebody wants to leave the hostel for any personal reason she shall have to pay the lodging charges for whole academic year.
