INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL & THERAPEUTIC SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY : DURGAPUR (IPTST) started its journey with a mission in 2002. The institute is situated on a 10 acre evergreen campus with a homely environment and is approximately 160 kms away form Kolkata.

Course Objective

Why: Physiotherapy is the branch of Medical service associated with the field of Rehabilitation. Studying Physiotherapy will enable you to work as a health professional.

Scopes: Demand of skilled and qualified physiotherapists are increasing in the organized health sector. The BPT degree qualification of India is accredited in many developed countries.

Training: Facilities are available in Super Speciality Hospital & in Govt.

WBUHS - Affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences,
I.A.P. - Recognized by Indian Association of physiotherapists.

Duration: 4 ½ years Full Time Regular.

Eligibility: (10+2) Passed with Physics, Chemistry & Biology from any Govt. recognized board or council. Admission is done through entrance examination under West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
