Course Duration : 4 ½ years. (Full Time)
Eligibility : (10+2) Passed with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
Subject to study : A physiotherapy student studies various medical subject like anatomy, physiology, bio-chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, pathology, psychology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery and neurology along with biomechanics, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, research, static, computer and medical ethics.

Physiotherapy enjoys professional autonomy and has the ability to act as primary care-providers. Physiotherapists do not require any kind of referral from physicians for treatment.
BRANCHES OF PHYSIOTHERAPY : Physiotherapy is complex speciality, as it deals with all disciplines of medicine, e.g. musculo-skeletal, cardio-thoracic, neurological, paediatric, community based rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynaecology (Ob&G), sports medicine etc.
PLACEMENT SECTORS INCLUDE:
- Hospitals / Medical Centres / Rehabilitation centres.
- Private practices / Clinician.
- Sports clinic / Sports Club / gyms.
- In universities / colleges-academician Specialized schools / community settings / public settings / work places / companies.
PHYSICAL THERAPY INTERVENTIONS: Manual handling, movement enhancement, application of physical, electrotherapeutic and mechanical agents; functional training; provision of aids and appliances; patients related instruction and counselling etc.
PHYSIOTHERAPY CURES: Back/neck pain, Spinal/joint conditions, e.g. Arthritis, spondylosis, structural/neuro mascular control problems, cerebral palsy (CP) / Spina Bifida, Heart/ lung conditions, e.g. COPD, asthma, Pneumonia etc. Sports injuries, stress incontinence, neurological conditions, eg Stroke, Multiple sclerosis, etc.
CAREER OPERTUNITIES:
